The WYSIWYG design tool, Study Architect, allows studies to be created as fast as they could be designed in a word processor.  The Study Participant and Survey Filler tools have advanced features that take advantage of the Tablet PC.  They have been developed such that a patient is able to fill out forms about themselves.

Study Example Patients who are seeking treatment for a specific problem are selected at random at several different physicians’ offices. These patients are given one or more surveys at different stages of their treatment.  At the same time, a physician fills out a different set of surveys about these patients, while the nurse fills out yet a third set of surveys.  Once all of the surveys have been completed, the data is merged together and analyzed to improve methods of treating this type of illness.
